Willie Randolph
Tuesday, June 17th, 2008I feel really bad about Willie Randolph getting fired by the Mets. I think he is a really good guy, and a really good baseball person. But I understand why he was fired, as the Mets were playing very badly for quite a while. Unfortunately, the manager always takes the fall when this happens, not the players who are much more to blame.
I would love to see Randolph go back to the Yankees, or maybe Joe Torre will grab him for the Dodgers coaching staff. Anyway, I am sure Willie will land on his feet.
