Wealth - What Does That Mean To You?
When we hear the word wealth we usually think of money but what if you lost your health? Have you known people who have tons of money but they have lost their health, their families and even friends in the process? What value then would all that money be? Don’t get me wrong, financial wealth is fun and desirable. I’ve heard it said “money isn’t all there is to life but it sure pays for a nice trip!”
What about the wealth of time freedom. What if you have all the money you want but no time to enjoy it. Is that true wealth? I’m part of the “baby-boomer” generation and have spent most of my life giving my time to someone else to make their business successful. As I entered a new phase of life I realized I wanted “Harmonic Wealth”, time freedom, financial freedom and the good health to enjoy it all. Sure, isn’t that what everyone wants? How many actually make a decision to go for it? Why do we hold back? I think fear is the biggest reason why. Fear of loss, fear of what others might think, fear of failure even fear of success and if I’m successful will I end up losing those friends and family I cherish and be alone. My friend, feel the fear, have faith and DO IT ANYWAY! Jump and you WILL find your wings. What do you think? Ready to let go? Tell me what you think.

Playing Full Out
The other day I realized I still occasionally worry about what “other” people think when I go to make a decision about taking an action. Have you ever stopped to “think about what your thinking about”? When I catch myself doing this I realize I’m living my life in that moment for others approval instead of living my life by following my own heart. How many times do we say what we think others want to hear, work at the job we think others would approve of, become involved in activites that we think others would like us to do etc. etc.? Many years ago I left the norm of a 9-5 job in favor of a home based business. Working for myself I realized I was putting myself on the front-lines and I couldn’t “hide” anymore behind a job. Playing full out means to me that I don’t hold back. Even when I feel that tug that is saying “what will they think”. Listening to my heart instead of my head has given me such a rewarding life. Often times it brings up fear and it requires pushing through that terror barrier but on the other side is an incredible life.
I encourage you to think about who your living your life for, yourself or others. Stop through out the day with the mind chatter and feel your heart. What is it telling you? Is your lifestyle bringing satisfaction to your soul? What about your relationships, your health, your career, are they bringing you closer to your heart or farther away?   Create a life so that when it comes towards the end you have no regrets.
