Beginning last night (Monday, June 1st) NBC launched a month long reality showed titled “I’m a celebrity get me out of here” in which celebrities compete against one another to become king or queen of the (Costa Rican) jungle. Each celebrity is playing for a charity of his/her choice. The catch is, America actually gets to vote who stays in the jungle and who goes home. The longer a celebrity stays the more money will be donated to his/her charity. ![]() Stephen Baldwin chose to play for Love146. If you’d rather skip the beautiful June weather and watch TV. You can find “I’m a celebrity get me out of here” on NBC from 8-9pm Mon-Thurs (that’s right, four nights a week!), June 1st – 18th and Mon-Wed, June 22nd – 24th. If you’re an avid reality show junkie consider voting (toll free or online) during the duration of the show. The longer Stephen stays the more money and awareness will be raised to serve children. If you’re one of those outdoorsy-only eats organic-is at peace with the world-likely living in Boulder, Co. and never watches TV type well, we can respect that too (Ok, I just described myself, but I had to throw that in for all of our Boulder partners). We won’t send out another email about the show but we will be updating our Blog, Facebook , Myspace and Twitter accounts frequently. I wanted to add one thing. Dr. Velazco recently sent us this email about the girls in our Round Home and I thought it was beautiful. “When we restore one child, the effect does not stop with that one child; the effect of restoration could be exponential, because that one child would want to restore others. There is a saying that “The hand that rocks the cradle moves the world.” With joy, Desirea Rodgers |

WASHINGTON – America has failed for too long to protect the security of its computer networks, President Barack Obama said Friday, announcing he will name a new cyber czar to press for action. Surrounded by a slew of government officials, aides and corporate executives, Obama said the U.S. has reached a "transformational moment" when computer networks are probed and attacked millions of times a day… finish reading the AP story.
Will this administration be able to finish what they start?
Dear CyberHood Watch Readers…
This morning my inbox was full of tons of info about the President talking about the risks of cyber crime to all. It was powerful and to the point. He was singing our song from the mountain top so to speak. It is yet another reminder that we are all responsible for our own security online, and we have to part of the solution and not a part of the problem…
Like anything else, if we don’t work it, there will be little results. Life and success are just that way. Below is links to or RCC Community come Join Us:

I can’t imagine any better validation pointing to the need for our CHW services for literally everyone you know.
President Obama outlined steps the U.S. Government will take to protect its computers against cybercrime. The plan includes adding a cyber czar to oversee the protection of the entire network of computers in the government. His presentation talked about cyber attacks against our government in many areas. He discussed how attacks in the future may look based on attacks on other cities around the world. The President is calling for a new education program to raise public awareness of the challenges and threats of cyber security.
