Yes We Can

February 14th, 2008

Today was an especially difficult day for me.  I had numerous unrelated things touch me emotionally.  One of those things caused me to  question my involvement and effectiveness in network marketing because things were not going as I would like.  Then something serendipitous happened: I saw a clip of  Barack Obama’s speech were he repeats, “Yes we can”.  I went to Utube and watched the video that paralleled this speech.  I then went to my bookcase and found a copy of The Audacity of Hope.  His words spoke volumes to me and echoed what I was feeling.  Barack Obama believes in the power of the system and the good that can come through working with the best of intentions for all.  This is exactly what network marketing can do.  It can bring about change and make the lives of countless others better, more meaningful and complete.  He talks of the reality of traveling hours to meet with people only to find a few in attendance.  Yet, he is thankful.  He talks of holding press conferences and no one came.  He talks of participating in parades and proceeding the city’s sanitation trucks with a few stragglers watching.  Even with this paltry showing, he kept his faith and remained on task to complete his vision.  Because he had the conviction to continue, the strength to never give up his dream, he may now be the next president of the United States, the first African-American to hold that office. When I read this, I took courage and asked myself how I could ever give up hope.  This is the land of opportunity; the land where we can say with conviction “Yes we can”!  What a joy it is to live in this day and age where dreams can become a reality if only we believe that we can do what our hearts desire.Phyllis Nasiopulos http://netwebmarketer.com/pnasiopulos

Transfer the Vision of Success

February 8th, 2008

Every major accomplishment starts with a vision.  The vision of what can be, of what should be.  Some visions encompass all of society; others are closer to home.

The vision of NetWeb 2.0 does both.  This is a venture that will change the world of marketing by fusing it with the power of the internet.  Some may balk at the challenge this new approach presents, but the discomfort of learning all that needs to be learned is worth it.

Being part of the vision is the chance of a lifetime.

Every time I participate in a Webinar, I’m amazed by how much information I’m getting.  My comfort level is certainly being stretched, but at the same time I am so enthusiatic about what I’m learning and the impact it will have on my business. This is an amazing learning experience and challenge to reach new levels in regard to personal growth.  Thank you to Charlie Drake for sharing your expertise.  Thank you to Kent Holden for making this information something that I can master through the Mini-Webinar lessons.  Thank you to Ellie Drake for having the vision that will take me and countless others to levels that far exceed my dreams. This training goes beyond anything else in the field of Personal Development.  What a gift!Phyllis Nasiopulos http://netwebmarketer.com/pnasiopulos

Luck, fate, destiny.  I sometimes think about how those three things play such a significant role in my life.  Certainly, I see myself as lucky.  I’m an American woman who lives during a time in history when being a woman offers opportunity.  I live in a country that affords that opportunity to me and allows me to pursue my dreams.  Perhaps it was fate, but dare good luck that I met Ellie Drake.  I had no knowledge of who she was, what her vision for women was, or what she had accomplished in her life.  I just happened to be at the right place, at the right time, and my life has forever been changed.I know I’m on a path that will result in a destiny I never dreamed of having.  That destiny is still a mystery, but each day I give thanks for the lucky good fortune to be a part of something that is bigger than anything I ever imagined being in my life. What has come in your life that has changed the direction you were taking? www.netwebmarketer.com/pnasiopulos
